Business Analyst

Every day, experts seize new opportunities such as mobile solutions, e-commerce, real-time data integration, big data, digital marketing, smart scan, hybrid sales devices, mobile payment etc. To support the growth, while insuring the stability and evolution of applications, Working in Brûsel is looking for a Business Analyst to integrate the team of a reknowned distribution firm. You will manage on daily basis the extended scope of run-related services delivered in the Stores Client Interaction domain. By doing so, you will contribute to guarantee high quality services to more than 800 Stores across Belgium, helping them to please their customers. 

Job Description:
The responsibilities of a Business Analyst at this distribution firm include the following ones:

  • Follow up, coordination, root cause analysis and report on major incidents towards service- management.
  • Cross-team Problem Management and Continuous Improvement follow up, in order to improve and maintain the stability of the applications.
  • Internal and supplier KPI- and SLA- follow up and reporting.
  • Day-to-day Supplier Management, and workshop facilitation with Vendors. This includes support in Contract Negotiations.
  • Setup and maintenance of a knowledge base: Process documentation, organization and FAQs for internal teams, IT and end-users.
  • Demand Management, Scoping, and Estimations: Main contact for ongoing support requests and coordination with the appropriate teams.
  • Support Change Management Process, ensuring stability of applications as well as evolutions of solution landscape.
  • Component Lifecycle Management.
  • Financial Follow Up Domain related Opex Costs.
  • You work in close collaboration and report directly to the Store Client Interaction Director.


  • You hold Masters or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in management, economics or applied science, with option IT.
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant working experience as Business Analyst in consultancy of in an operational department.
  • A previous experience in retail or service management is a plus.
  • You have a professional level in French, English and Dutch.
  • You are a hands-on and customer oriented professional, with a no-nonsense mindset.
  • You are eager to learn, and you have a huge appetite for innovative technologies and changing trends in the market.
  • You are flexible to deal with occasional incidents outside of office hours
  • Your collaboration skills, leadership and empathy will make your success in this function.
